Why this is 8.75, not 8.8
Some Africa rate tables publish Kenya's policy rate as 8.8%. The Central Bank of Kenya set the Central Bank Rate at 8.75 percent on 10 February 2026 and reaffirmed it on 11 August 2026. We print the figure in the instrument, not a rounded one.
