Morocco minimum wage
Salaire Minimum Interprofessionnel Garanti (SMIG) for industry, commerce and services, set by decree under Articles 356-361 of the Labour Code (Loi 65-99). SMAG is the separate agricultural minimum.

What this value means
SMIG raised +5% to 17.92 MAD/hour effective 1 January 2026, i.e. 3,422.72 MAD gross/month on the legal base of 191 hours. This is the second and final tranche of the 29 April 2024 social-dialogue accord (government, CGEM, COMADER, trade unions), which delivered +5% in 2025 and +5% in 2026. The agricultural minimum (SMAG) was raised to 97.44 MAD/day (~2,533 MAD/month over 26 days) under the same round. With the accord's tranches now fully applied, no further scheduled statutory increase is in force; monitor the Bulletin Officiel (sgg.gov.ma) and the next social-dialogue round for the next revision.
