In June 2026 the Presidency signalled a review is coming and unions demand N154,000, but no new rate is law as of 2026-07-14. Statutory three-year review due 2027 — re-verify frequently. Some states pay above the national floor (e.g. Imo N104,000, Lagos/Rivers N85,000). CITATION UPGRADED (2026-08-07): the previous citation was the State House press release announcing assent — the announcement, not the law.
