Tanzania sets SECTORAL private-sector minimum wages by government order under s.39(1) of the Labour Institutions Act (Cap. 300) — there is no single national minimum. This series carries the lowest rate in the schedule.

Lowest rate in the Second Schedule: 'other domestic workers' (also defined hourly 410 / daily 3,077 / weekly 18,462 / fortnightly 36,923). The order covers 16 sectors with ~46 sub-categories; the catch-all rate for unlisted sectors is TZS 175,000/month (arguably the better general benchmark) and the highest rate is TZS 765,900/month (energy, international companies). Public-sector minimums are set separately by circular. Orders are issued irregularly (2013, 2022, 2025); next revision plausibly ~2028.
